Engine Management
Updated: September 25, 2017

The factory ECU cannot accurately meter the fueling requirements when the engine is fitted with larger than stock injectors.   Given the larger displacement of the JUN 2.2L engine, larger cams, the factory 440 cc/min injectors are maxxed-out at about 10 psi of boost.  So, more fuel is required before turning up the boost.  Bye-bye stock injectors and G-Force ECU.  Hello 720 cc/min injectors and an Autronic engine management system.
Engine Management consists of the following components:
  • Autronic SMC
  • Autronic Model A Exhaust Gas Analyzer
  • Bosch wide-band O2 sensor, 0258-104-002-000
  • Stock Toyota 3S-GTE distributor
  • Reluctor inteface adapter
  • (2) Bosch Igniters
  • Mitsubishi twin-coil pack
  • Additional clutch switches
