Chris' '90 Toyota Celica All-Trac Turbo (aka "The Shuttle")
Turbo System - HKS Front Mount Intercooler
Updated: August 29, 2023

Time for a Change.  Although I had been using a Spearco WTA IC system with much success for the past three years, I felt I'd try using a ATA IC for a change.  If Supras can churn-out 800 HP on a FMIC, one would think a FMIC should make good for 500 - 550 hp in my GT-Four.   So, I had a large HKS 600 x 300 x 65 S-Type IC fitted between the RC bumper and the a/c condenser.  Actually, it wasn't very difficult to fit the IC and mount it to the bumper supports.  The end-tanks include a 2.5" inlet and a 3" outlet along with temperature probes for the digital IC temperature gauges I have in the center console.

Once upon a time, there was this HKS IC core
looking for a good time, err, I mean a new home.

Then the IC core met Mr. Tig Welder.

And, after a few hours, the IC had a new home.

Wrapping the IC with cardboard kept it from
getting goobered-up while fabricating other things,
like the engine oil and trans cooler mounts.

Above the stereo are the Halmeter AF30 air/fuel ratio meter and the two digital IC temp gauges.  With the ATA IC, I'm using only one of the gauges.  No, the other one is not for sale.  I'll find a use for it.   :-)
