All-Trac Turbo
(aka "The
Shuttle") Turbo System - ERL Aquamist System 2S Water Injection |
Updated: September 25, 2017 |
Issue: 900-925C EGTs. - Since moving the EGT probe to the collector within the turbine, my EGT gauge is registering about 100C higher than it used to when the probe was placed in a single runner within the exhaust manifold. Considering that the probe now "sees" exhaust energy from all four cylinders, instead of just a single cylinder, I believe this is a more accurate representation of EGTs. And, since temps are slowly rising just above 900C, I've decided to implement WI simply for a bit of in-cylinder cooling.
Updates:
August 21 - I've decided to hold-off installation of the Aquamist system till after I get the car back together.. But it'll be high on the list once The Shuttle gets back on the road.
July 20 - I start planning the install and fabricating brackets for mounting the water pump under the hood.
July 15 - Purchased a System 2S and DDS2 (Dash Display System 2).
